The Douglas County Education Foundation has been raising money from local businesses, individuals, including school system staff,
and regional foundations since its establishment in 1993.
In 2018, the foundation changed its name from
Public Education Trust (PET) to Douglas County Education Foundation to more accurately describe who we are and whom we serve.
For the recently completed 2022-2023 school year, the foundation awarded $45,000 to students.
