The Douglas County Education Foundation (DCEF) is excited to announce its newest scholarship, the $500 Douglasville Gymnastics and Cheerleading Club Scholarship offered to graduating seniors who are current or former students at Douglasville Gymnastics and Cheerleading Club, Inc.

Paige Etheridge is the founder and owner of Douglasville Gymnastics and Cheerleading Club and has been a resident of Douglas County since 1978. “I am a product of the Douglas County School System, having attended Burnett Elementary School, Stewart Middle School, and Lithia Springs High School,” said Ms. Etheridge. “It is my pleasure to give back to students in the school system that I was part of.” The Club has been in business in Douglas County since 1987, providing quality sports programs for Douglas County youth.

The Douglasville Gymnastics and Cheerleading Club Scholarship is one of 24 different locally-sponsored scholarship funds offering a total of $51,210 to 50 members of the high school graduating class of 2019. This particular scholarship requires a minimum grade point average of 3.0 and is open to students pursuing any major as long as they are current or former students at the Club.
