Foundation Adds New Board Member

The Douglas County Education Foundation is pleased to welcome Vonda Thorpe to its volunteer board of leaders. Ms. Thorpe is involved with several community-focused organizations and brings with her a commitment to making the foundation, school system, and community flagships for the state. She is owner and event manager of Royal Accents LLC.
"I have a passion for the success of our young people. Teaching them to make wise and sound decisions and giving them the tools to help them is one of my missions. It is an honor to serve on this board and enrich the lives of our students and teachers."
