Beginner and experienced runners from pre-Kindergarten through middle school are welcome at the Foundation Fun Run. The top 10 male and top 10 female runners in each age category receive medals. The three schools that have the most top 10 finishers will each take home a trophy for permanent display and bragging rights!
The Douglas County Education Foundation, formerly Public Education is the organization that raises money for the Douglas County School System. This is the seventh year the Douglas County Education Foundation has sponsored a fall Fun Run.
The first race is at 9:00 a.m. and is a 1.5 mile run for middle schoolers. Races for different ages continue throughout the morning, concluding with a 200M incredibly cute Tot Trot for pre-Kindergarten boys and girls!
