The Douglas County Education Foundation is proud to administer 18 different scholarship funds for the 2020-2021 school year that are sponsored by local citizens -- including school system teachers -- and local businesses. These funds will offer 29 scholarships valued at $40,482.

Samuel Kofi-Opata received one of four Gold's Gym Scholarships and is attending Georgia Tech.

Sonali Patel received one of five Billie Yancey Memorial Scholarships and is attending University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Sydney Phillips received the Assured Comfort Heating, Air & Plumbing Scholarship and is attending University of Georgia.
